I'm Yury. I moved to Switzerland as a child, and the mountains became my second home. Nearly 20 years later, I've hiked every known and lesser-known trail across the Swiss Alps — from the hidden valleys of Interlaken to the panoramic summit of Le Grammont above Lake Geneva.

I also work in a professional kitchen, so the trail lunch I prepare for every hike is a cut above the usual energy bar — fresh sandwiches, local cheese, Swiss specialties, hot tea at the summit. My guests notice.

I started Swiss Riviera Guide in 2018 because I believe the best way to experience Switzerland is on foot, away from the tourist crowds, with someone who knows the trails like the back of their hand. Every hike I lead takes you to places most visitors never find — quiet alpine meadows, secluded forests, villages where the only sounds are cowbells and running water.
